Following the construction of the scaffold, both the front and rear roof were stripped, timber repaired/replaced and weatherproofed, felt & batons replaced and all new fascia and soffits, giving the property guaranteed weather protection for years to come aswell as a much needed facelift.

As part of the roof refurbishment, we repointed and replaced lead flashings on the neighbouring chimney stack, which has caused a few leaks over the years into both properties. To guarantee no reoccurrence of the issues, we completely refurbished the stack and ensured all flashings were replaced and all mortar joints were cleaned and repointed. Alongside this, we completely rebuilt the main chimney stack for our property – ready for the winter period and guaranteed for years to come!

As part of the Loft Dormer refurbishment, we completely stripped and relined the Dormer roof, before completing it in GRP, a fibreglass and resin solution which has completely transformed the roofline, bringing a polished modern look, alongside a complete weatherproofing to the roof. Alongside the new roofline, we have incorporated two roof lights, windows that are built into the actual roof, to allow some of the beautiful lake district sunshine through bringing some nice ambient lighting into the loft and loft stairwell. Capping off the Loft Dormer refurbishment, working alongside the beautifully finished GRP roof, we have installed a new window and anthracite cladding, bringing not only a modern polished look, but also some great insulation, which I think you will agree, looks absolutely stunning!

For guaranteed weatherproofing against the lake district winter weather, we have: prepped, treated & sealed, skimmed and k-rendered the gable-end and new chimney stack, giving the outside of this property a modern and aesthetically pleasing finish!
