One of the amazing features of this property, is the natural red stone walling featured throughout. Originally used for it’s durability but also availability in the area, these structures now exposed and cleaned down, create such a beautiful feature throughout – really creating the warm, cottage feeling one would expect in a period holiday-let like this one In keeping with this energy, we repurposed some old natural slate slabs that were in the property’s garage, and created this beautifully hand crafted slate hearth for the feature fireplace in the dining area
